Cheap life in an over controlled city

I live in a city and follow the kind of over controlled schedule only truly under-employed people can devise. I sleep till I wake and wake till I sleep. By mid-morning, I walk to a café that has become my office. In the evenings, I wander to the waterfront bridge to watch the setting sun or catch some pigeons by the downtown square. Can life get any cheaper and real?
