The Picts were a group of Celtic-speaking peoples who lived in what is now northern and eastern Scotland (north of the Forth) during Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages.
This small book tries to give the Picts their real place in the course of Scottish, or if one so wishes, pre-Scottish history and show the way in which the Picts are very much present, even today.
