The Department of Decorative Design, under Mrs. Stone, gives instruction in the composition and application Of ornaments, with a study of its historical styles; in the elements Of architectural and decorative form, and in proportion. The full course in this department, necessary for a diploma, is three years (or four years for those who are not proficient in drawing), with practice in the technical application Of design during the last year.
