Publisher's Synopsis
SCENE STUDIES features monologues, duo acting scenes and group scenes for 3 or more performers. The content is excerpted from four popular shows created by SHOJAI & STEELE PLAYS. STRAYS, THE MUSICAL! explores furry foibles from the PETS' point of view. KURVES, THE MUSICAL features 8 quirky misfits who find their "brass ring" while trapped one afternoon inside a women's gym. STARZ, THE MUSICAL (inspired by attendees of the Texas Thespian Festival) offers an insider's glimpse of the many reasons performers "come home" to the theater. A COMFORT BREEZE is a dramatic mother-daughter reunion with adult themes. RADIO DAZE, a 1940s Musical, A motley crew of 12 staff, has-been movie stars, and strangers off the street come together to try and save the WPDQ-Radio Station from being replaced by the latest fad--television--and fail miserably to hilarious effect.
