Publisher's Synopsis
I am a Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Tumour and Cancer Survivor, My life lessons started when I was very young. As a child I was highly active, I always had plans for great new adventures. It was difficult for me to focus on anything beyond my own imagination. Some would say I had A.D.D. and I would think they had gotten it right. In contrast, I now consider my vivid ingenuity to be a creative asset and a great diversion from a life that has sometimes been and still can be difficult. I believe that my gift to create was and still is far stronger than any previously perceived disability. I love how God gives us legacies that take a lifetime to develop. My memories of my childhood seem to have faded from a natural uninterrupted timeline to glimpses, flashes of what once was. I imagine this is the case for many of us in and beyond middle age. When I think back on my childhood, I can still remember dark times and sadness. There was pain and weeping but now with a healed heart, I can look at those times from a safer place and in the willingness of the calm I can evoke the feelings of love, joy, and marvel. I know that in those moments no matter how serious, Jesus was with me, and He shone His light into the dark crooks of my challenging but wonderful world. Allow me to share with you, the best that I have to offer. I am more prepared than at any other time in my life to express in a truly meaningful way what I have gleaned through the Holy Spirit, the bible, and straight-up surviving things that by most accounts would break a less distracted person. Sometimes God allows us to be upset because we are not focusing on what is essential to our journey with Him. I invite you to take an excursion with me, through our extraordinary lives on a quest to discover the fingerprint of God on each of our memories and individual lessons and the inscriptions it has stamped on our hearts.
