Publisher's Synopsis
As darkness falls over the city of Seattle, a new evil awakens. Not since the Green River Killer has there been a serial killer who has left the city in a grip of fear like this. A wealthy banker is found butchered in his bedroom, dismembered, with a chilling clue left behind. In another part of the city the wealthy wife of a high-profile lawyer is found dead, hanging in her bedroom still wearing her nightgown. The Sandman is loose on the city and the police have no leads. They ask for the help of psychiatrist Eric Drake with this chilling case. With the help of his friend, P.I. Mike Branson, Eric follows the trail of the Sandman before the body count mounts. As he becomes more involved with the case, he senses something eerily familiar about the killings. When Eric realizes that the Sandman could possibly be a former patient of his, the visions that were dormant for so long start coming back to him. His visions more powerful than before, Eric begins to uncover the true motive of the sinister plan to kidnap the children of Seattle and eventually abduct his son David. In a race against time, Eric must stop this vicious killer before he can execute his plan. As Eric and the police track a killer, a chilling discovery is made that will change his life forever. He must risk his own life to stop the killings and save the innocent children.
