Liam O'Neal is a middle-aged man who likes to spend his days repairing boats and helping friends. Call it either a gift or a curse, but Liam has the ability to connect mentally with people in comas. He discovered he had this ability after surviving a tragic accident when he was younger. Father Martin became a mentor to Liam when he arrived at an orphanage when he was younger. He discovered that Liam had his gift and has used him to help countless people before. Sarah Williams is a typical nine-year-old girl, except she falls through the ice while playing at the city park in the middle of the winter. She is clinically dead for almost an hour. Surviving but in a deep coma, Liam is asked to help her find her way out. Liam finds himself battling his past and fears in a desperate attempt to save her. Thomas McIntyre is your average ten-year-old boy who comes from a family that is slowly falling apart. After running into the street in front of his home to recover a basketball, he is hit by a passing car and he too is in a coma. Patrick LaRue is a good man, however sometimes good people do desperate things. Fearing that he will get caught, he continues his charade but is haunted by his mistake. Liam must find the answers he needs to rescue both of them.
