Kaboo found refuge with missionaries and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Kaboo was baptized and changed his name to Samuel Morris. Morris had a simple faith and always prayed to his Father. So much so that his roomates told him he was loud and he was forced to pray outside.
Morris' simple faith and hunger for God led him to get on a ship for America to learn more about the Holy Spirit from Stephen Merritt and to eventually come back to Africa to evangelize his people. It can be argued that it was Morris who ultimately taught Stephen Merritt about the Holy Spirit. Morris would go on to lead many to Christ at Taylor University. He helped save the university financially and spiritually. Morris' short Spirit filled life led many students at Taylor to become missionaries in Africa.
