This book follows Samantha through the day as her mommy inserts the contact lens, Samantha chooses which super-awesome patch to wear (coordinating with her clothes of course!) and wears cool sunglasses while playing with her friends outside. Samantha also visits the eye doctor and shows off the glasses that she wears when she occasionally can't wear her contact lens. Later in the day, Samantha's mommy removes the contact lens and Samantha gets a big hug.
