With a good breeze from the westward, or a leadingr wind, you may approach Cape Cod, off the Highland Light, as near as two miles, and if you wish to take advantage of the tide, you may run the shore along, preserving the same offing, until you draw up with Race Point Light, when, if bound into Cape Cod Har bor, you may pass this Light within one half mile.
