Mirria is a fantasy world that has the rough technological development level as that of Late Medieval Europe. Once a relatively stable peace permeated the world but now thanks to the machinations of the evil Dark Master the world is slowly being eroded into darkness and despair. However, a manuscript found has the chance to save the world and must be delivered by the Fair princess Aquaria. Sadly, the evil Dark Master has sent his forces against them and due to a series of events she meets up with the peasant boy Nathan and the two must finish the journey. They make many friends and encounter wretched villains such as ghostly ghouls, Dull-witted Trolks, and the inhuman Stranger.
