It's designed to create dialogue between parent and child, including those in our educational and recreational communities. There are many things inside the home and outdoors that can be harmful and unsafe. Parents, teachers, coaches, etc provide suggestions and rules to keep children safe with hopes that all rules are followed, but sometimes they are not.

Eno, the Safety Pledge Robot is funny, witty and will make you laugh. He moves throughout the story offering safety tips and suggestions that support lessons taught inside the home and classroom. Also, he has friends whose actions will produce positive results to help prevent an unsafe environment as well as an accident.
At the conclusion of each section in the story, kids and adults are asked to make a pledge of safety. Most importantly, Eno would like it's readers to come up with their own safety pledge and practice it daily. Also, to encourage children who make a pledge of safety, even when it's broken - start over and keep trying.
