"Safe Sports Events" is designed to support you whatever size events you organise, whether local, single-sport festivals, multi-sport regional, national or international residential camps. Developed by the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CSPU) working with sports bodies, "Safe Sports Events" will help you to organise your events to ensure that all children and young people are safeguarded from harm. "Safe Sports Events" will help you to plan and deliver safe, enjoyable events and gives guidance on: roles and responsibilities; recruitment and training; reporting procedures for concerns; and health and safety. "Safe Sports Events" also includes a CD-ROM providing a template for a Welfare Plan and forms to tailor to your needs.
