It is said that everyone has a destiny in life, but far too many people are too ingrained in their own lives to recognize their fate in life. Sometimes a person has more than one destiny. During the early 1990s, Thomas was assigned to an undercover narcotics squad working the inner-city housing projects as part of a US attorney's initiative known as Weed and Seed. The project was intended to weed out the drug dealers and gangs and seeding in law-abiding citizens. It was during this assignment that Thomas became involved in a series of events that changed the future of not only him but his eventual wife and the United States as a whole.
This story is about a dual destiny that set out with death on several levels to include one that was very personal. As in physics classes, we learned that for every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction to events. It is certain in most cases to have a profound effect on lives, such as three people who happened to intersect during their lives. One is Thomas, an amazing cybercrime investigator who is posed with an uncertain but preordained future that was set in motion with one horrific incident. The second is a trained operative with the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence who has embedded himself within the framework of society in the United States with a hidden agenda. The third is a loving mother who has learned that she is in the battle of her life. And lastly, the main antagonist, Sadaf, an unassuming and completely hidden entity that will leave the reader wondering who this person is and his motives.
