Dolf Schnebli (born 1928) received his degree at the Graduate School of design at Harvard University. Having his office first in Ticino and then in Zurich, he soon became one of the most successful and respected of Swiss architects. Among his realizations are the Swiss School in Naples, the Legal Faculty of Washington University and the housing development in Littau/Lucerne. From 1971 to 1994 Schebli worked as a professor at the Swiss Federal Technical University (ETH) in Zurich. His teaching has made an impression on several generations of young architects.
