Making films, for Meyer, was always about titillation - primarily his own, if evidence be believed. The master and creator of the big-breasted-hero action cult film is catalogued here by a box set featuring the '18 Uplifting Classics' he is most famed for, though some are better known than others. A classic Meyer film, 'Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill Kill!' (1965) is the benchmark journey into Meyer-dom. Three full-bosomed go-go girls turn on their predominantly male audience and begin breaking their bones, running them over etc. when the violence of our times just gets too much for them. 'Beneath The Valley Of The Ultra-Vixens' (1979) is yet another comely-figured Meyer epic featuring a group of sexual Olympians. The well-endowed heroine of the piece must find a cure for her lover's impotence, a search that forces her into a number of compromising situations. These two films are featured along with 16 others including Meyers' first picture, 'The Immoral Mr. Teas' (1959). It may as well be his autobiography since its titular lead figure is a deliveryman who wanders around imagining his female customers naked all day. The master himself provides commentary on many of the films and contained are interviews with many of the stars of his work.
