Notice of quarantine. I, M. L. Wilson, Acting Secretary of Agriculture, have determined, and notice is hereby given, that certain injurious insects and diseases of sugarcane, new to and not heretofore widely prevalent or distributed Within and throughout the United States, exist in the Territories of Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and that, in order to prevent the introduction of these insects and diseases into any other Territory, State, or District of the United States, it is necessary to quarantine the said Territories of Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
