A story inspired by COVID-19.
Only a tenth of Earth's population survives a deadly virus. In a small settlement, a group of survivors are surrounded by a river cliff and a tall fence with barbed wire. They have enough food to survive in isolation for at least three years. But when a third of their supplies go bad, Jonah fears they must face the unknown world behind their fence. Does the other side of the fence only have infected strangers who will do anything for a bite of food? Will the world ever be what it once was? Or will only the strongest survive?
