Publisher's Synopsis
Adventure stories about growing up in Chicago. Angelo and his cousin Andretti are forced to leave school and work in The Hobbit Farms sweat shop. They run away to the circus only to end up working in a zoo. Both boys are enrolled in school by a Greek scholar and graduate. They return to the Southside of Chicago where Romeo is born and new adventures begin.
