There's only one thing of importance in Navy Seal and biker Caden Mitchell's life-his job. Everything else is secondary. When he's not overseas, defending his country, life feels meaningless. And that's a problem. After a disastrous mission that killed several men on his team, including his best friend, his commanding officers want him to take a breather. And worse than that, they want him to go for therapy. Therapy he insists he doesn't need. Enter Dr. Everly Thomas, a psychiatrist who's just as tough as he is, and sexy as hell. She's going to find a way to help him, one way or another... ---------------------------------------------------------- EXCERPT FROM BOOK They both paid their tabs and her companion escorted her out to the parking lot. "Damn. Nice Harley!" he exclaimed. Clearly, he was drunk so Everly wanted to have herself a little fun. "You like to ride?" She asked coyly. "Hell yeah! This one's mine." He ran his hands over a Harley Davidson parked directly beside Everly's. "Well, you've got good taste." Everly crossed her arms over one another before against the bike he had been admiring. "No way." The realization hit him, "This is yours?" Everly nodded, smiling. That fact never ceased to surprise the men she encountered, and it always gave her a rush. Everly loved surprising people. Being a fairly young, black, female Doctor with a motorcycle; well, you couldn't get much more surprising than that. He tore his eyes away from her bike and locked his bright blue eyes with her brown ones. He strutted over to her in confidence and placed both of his hands on her waist. Everly instinctively laced both of her hands up his biceps and shoulders before bringing them to meet behind his neck. The mystery man leaned forward and grazed his lips over Everly's causing her knees to go weak. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a 10,000 word stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers!
