Roku Inc. is a privately-owned broadcast media company that has its genesis in October of 2002. Since its launch into the industry, the company has grown and is responsible for the production of many digital media players. Since the release, reviews on the player have been mixed in comparison to the other devices. The stance taken however, commends Roku Inc. for the addition to the options available to consumers.
