African American identical twins born in on New Year's Eve Day 1865 are separated at birth, when their mother flees the plantation and collapses with the twins in her arms at the front doors of New Day Baptist Church. The twins are adopted, Lily is raised in the South and Eloise the North, yet their gift for writing reunites them when they see a flyer with their face and is curious. Lily a famous folklore writer, Eloise a journalist for the abolitionist movement, they find each other, and unite their lives through their writings. Zirzeria's current novel The River of Life: "Three Diaries of An African American Inheritance" was written to encourage writers to describe life in their own beautiful words. Her first book entitled, The Queen in Me and My Bumblebee was a children's book published in 2007. Zirzeria is an English professor in the city where she currently resides and hopes to inspire the world through her writings.
