This is a short book of both American poetry and Spanish poetry, written by Lyn Coffin of the US, and Mercedes Luna Fuentes, of Mexico City. In their collaboration, Coffin and Fuentes were the translators for each other's work. This volume is a mix of poems that will sometimes warm your heart, and at other times will be heart wrenching, while always striking a chord of the human condition. Ms. Coffin is the 2016 winner of the prestegious Saba Award in the country of Georgia, for her English translation of the 12th Century Georgian epic poem, The Knight in the Panther Skin, by Shota Rustaveli.
