Publisher's Synopsis
They asked me here to write a 150-word synopsis (Thatas a big wordaI hope you know what it means. If not, you might walk over to the dictionary section of this bookstore and look it up. Oh, never mind, Iall tell you. It means a short summary of the contents. There, are you happy now?) of my book. Okay, how many words is that? Sixty-six? Good, and thatas not including the last part here, which puts us at eighty! Moving right along, arenat we? Anyway, itas a rather short book, only 53 poems, all of the ridiculous variety, and all designed to make children of all ages chuckle a little now and then. If you canat figure that out by just thumbing through it, then maybe the childrenas section is a little too challenging for you. For that matter, you can probably read the whole thing just standing there, and then you wouldnat have to buy the book at all, would you? Oops! 163 words! (Well, 163 words until just before that first aOops!a) I guess Iad better stop here. But first this important note: Curmudgeons should NOT read this book. It may upset their sense of propriety.
