When Sandra Pott runs away from a marriage arranged by her mother, it's to save her little boy. Her mother had practically sold her to her second husband and now that he's dead, she wants to do it again and find Sandy a third unscrupulous man. But Sandra doesn't want that kind of life and flees, ending up in Anchor Point with the help of her mother's housekeeper.
Elijah Tinder has just opened the newest hotel in Anchor Point and is feeling blessed. Then he meets Sandra and realizes that she's in trouble and decides to help her. But she's too scared to reveal her past to him, and things are strained for a while. What neither of them knows is that Sandy's coming to Anchorage Anchor Point will cause the past to catch up with the whole family.
