Rhyme and Reason: Thoughts of Life and Love showcases a selection of poetry and short stories that reflect an assortment of relationships, events, and imaginings over a man's lifetime. The poems cover the spectrum, from structured sonnets to free form, from serious to humorous, and from romantic to philosophical. Some of the poems were academically assigned, but most represent spontaneous creativity and personal expression. The short stories are remembrances or retelling of actual events. Larry E. Bridgham is a retired business director from the University of Central Florida Health Services. He worked there for 17 years and also received his MPA there. "I grew up all over the USA, from my birth in Massachusetts to New Jersey, Ohio, California, and Virginia. I attended three high schools in three states and graduated from the University of Illinois.
