This is a biography of Sir Rex Harrison, the British stage and film actor who also played a variety of comedy roles. He was at his best playing suave, well-to-do, ever-so-English gentlemen in drawing room comedies. Most famous for his role in "My Fair Lady", his professional success contrasted sharply with his troubled personal life. He was married six times, of which four marriages ended in divorce. He died while appearing in Somerset Maugham's "The Circle".
