The most important finding is that it has discovered more galaxies and more distant galaxies than there should be; this might lead to some dramatic changes in the way we now understand the universe. According to conventional wisdom, following the first explosion that created the cosmos a period time known as the dark ages ensued. During this time, the initial light from the cosmos had already begun to dim, and the universe's first stars and galaxies had not yet begun to form. Because of its exceptional sensitivity, Webb can see some of the youngest galaxies, which emerged just after the dark ages. When compared to later galaxies, we would anticipate those younger galaxies to have fewer stars and a less developed structure. The observations made by Webb, on the other hand, have uncovered very redshifted and very young galaxies that are astonishingly old for their age.
