Present illness - About six weeks ago he began to feel pain in his left leg, particularly of a morning, when he rose from bed. At one of these times he felt a small swelling in the ham. He got something to rub it with, but it gradu ally grew larger and the pain 'more severe. He was at last obliged to give up work and come to the hospital.
