When film student Kathleen Bowen returns to her hometown of Starsville, North Carolina to settle her parents' estate after a tragic car crash, she learns that she is now the owner of the mysterious theatre in town. Amid disagreements with her sister Margot about renovating the building, and the appearance of a stranger from the past, Kathleen is forced to decide where her loyalties lie.
