"REMEMBRANCES AND REFLECTIONS" comprises in Armenian, the memoirs and the reflections of Hratch Tourikian, who was a renowned businessman, community leader, and a political activist in Lebanon where he was born and raised. He came from a prominent Armenian family and was nurtured in its midst.
He is a pharmacist by profession and was the representative of a few pharmaceutical companies. Along with his business dealings and professional associations, he had established close relations and had wide connections with the powers that acted in Lebanon and was also actively involved in the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) party, where he had assumed leadership roles during crucial periods in the country.
In the book, he discusses the rift that happened between him and the party due to fundamental diverging viewpoints. His family immigrated to Canada in the mid-1970s. He joined them shortly after. He presents his memoirs of the events and reflects on the eventual chasm that grew between him and the emerging leadership of the party he served for many years.
