Publisher's Synopsis
Brodie Farrell's agency specializes in tracking down weird and wonderful items, but she never looks for people. However, following a request from Superintendent Jack Deacon, whose judgement she trusts, Brodie agrees to try and find the aunt of two girls left without a guardian when their mother is killed by their father. As Deacon hunts for the father, and Brodie sets about finding the aunt, Brodie's friend Daniel Hood agrees to tutor the girls and help them deal with their grief. Then the autopsy gives some unexpected results, and Brodie embarks on a very dangerous path indeed...
