Torn between two nations... When Britain and America went to war it was as if brother fought against brother. They spoke the same language; might have walked the same hills as boys; they might even love the same woman. At the forefront of the battle, between roaring enemy guns and the backstabbing of their own politicians, stood the Redcoats. To the British, a Redcoat was the brave suppressor of upstart Yankee rebellion. To the American Patriots, the "Bloodybacks" were the thieves of their freedom and plunderers of their birthright.
