Publisher's Synopsis
A mixed bunch of travellers are forced to stay in Red Rock Crossing when the river floods: rancher Jesse Grant, fleeing enemies; Texas Rangers, Ben and Marty, escorting outlaw Hamel; and Missouri Sam, a hired assassin - only one man knows his identity... Ben and his girl Jane live at the crossing, and struggle for survival as the town erupts in murder and violence. The flood subsides, but a mystery must still be unravelled before Missouri pays for his crimes.
