Excerpt from Records of the Court of General Sessions of the Peace for the County of Worcester, Massachusetts: From 1731 to 1737
This volume contains the Records of the Court of General Sessions of the Peace for Worcester County, from August, 1731, to the close of the May term, 1737. The Records of this Court and those of the Inferior Court of Common Pleas for the corresponding period, were entered in the same volume, but were afterwards kept in separate books. The matter here printed forms an important and interesting part of early history of the County; and illustrates in a degree the manners and morals of the people of that time. A brief introduction and some notes have been added; and a full index will be found at the end.
