The first-ever big game records book dedicated solely to American elk, Roosevelt's elk, and tule elk. Previously American elk, Roosevelt's elk, and tule elk entries were listed along with the mule deer entries, but due to the high volume of new entries for the categories covered in the first and second editions, the decision was made to split the categories in to two books. In addition to listing one new category - tule elk - it contains a record number of new entries. This edition contains statistical details of 926 typical American elk, 261 non-typical American elk, 364 Roosevelt's elk, and 47 tule elk.
