Publisher's Synopsis
The Ibaraki (Tsukuba) International Symposium on Recent Trends in Organic Photochemistry and its Extensive Prospects to Industry was successfully held on 8-11 May, 1991 under the co-organization of the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan, Kanto Division, the Chemical Society of Japan, Kanto Division, the Japan Photochemistry Association (JPA) and the University of Tsukuba. The symposium covered both the basic and applied aspects of organic photochemstry, and the scientific programme consisted of 31 invited lectures and two invited and 90 contributed posters. Nearly 170 participants enjoyed active discussion and fruitful communication throughout the symposium. These proceedings contain most of the invited papers presented at this symposium.
