Publisher's Synopsis
This collection of problems is intended as a guidance to student taking Calculus I and having a major in mathematics, engineering, physics or any related field and introduce to the methods and concepts of real sequences and their features.
As a first part we give an overview of basic concepts and theorems (stated without proof) and then proceed to solved problems. Even though mathematics can't be understood without proper practice, we think that a student who is new to the subject should see the demonstrated solutions with comments. Of course, student is always encouraged to try to solve without referring immediately to the solution. And to bring another solution as well.
