The Read English with Ben series follows the adventures of 11-year-old Ben at home in London, on holiday in Scotland and at school as he moves from the end of primary to the beginning of secondary school.

Book 1 - Ben enjoys his last year at primary school and starts his summer holidays. What is in the mysterious parcel and who is it from? What are Ben's parents arguing about? And will the family ever go away on holiday?
Book 2 - Ben and his parents travel to Scotland. Why do they go camping in the middle of nowhere? Can a boy from London wear a kilt at the Highland Games? And what does Ben find out about his own family?
Book 3 - Ben finally starts secondary school and faces new challenges. Does he win the school photo competition? Do his parents survive his first attempt at making a family meal? And what happens when he breaks a school rule and ends up in the Headteacher's office?
