Publisher's Synopsis
This is a story of life, love, happiness, sadness and being able to let go.
When my Ray died, he wanted to be cremated and his ashes put on the Oklahoma Sooner’s football field, Lake Eufaula, where he loved to fish, and on Bill’s grave, his closest friend. It took me four trips and ten years to finally be able to leave him. Each trip he would ride with me in that heavy plastic bag inside that brown cardboard box with Rose” written on top. We were always together. Our life together was a comedy of errors and this trip was no different. As I backed out of my driveway, Ray asked, Are you really going to do it this time, Blondie?” Yes, my love, I am really going to do it this time.” Ray and I had many journeys together. This would not be the last.
