Nous devons a M. D. Rosinski de Moscou, qui a pass� quel ques mois au Laboratoire, un travail �tendu sur le pouvoir rota toire des fils �l�mentaires bruts des cocons des vers � soie. C'est la premi�re �tude qui para�t sur ce sujet. Il l'a conduite sous nos yeux avec une patience rare, une attention scrupuleuse qui lui font honneur. Le Laboratoire a pu lui procurer deux s�ries de cocons, l'une domestique, l'autre sauvage. Lui-m�me a �crit en fran�ais la relation des observations qu'il a faites et l'a ren due plus instructive par de nombreux diagrammes.
