It is ideal for first time readers and children who are struggling to learn to read, particularly those with SEN requirements and helps helps young children develop the skills they need to learn to read. Each of the books covers a letter of the alphabet, using it as the basis for a story. The 26 books are carefully graded in vocabulary to cover the 200 high frequency words and have sufficient reinforcement throughout the stories to help young children gain confidence in reading. The CD-ROM also includes 54 phonics based interactive activities. and the series provides an effective introduction of key NLS targets such as phonics recognition and developing essential reading skills such decoding.
