Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Radio Service: Autobiographies of Bugs, Birds and Rodents; Jan. 4, 1927
Another time, we were sunning ourselves one mornigg on the mud bank, when a sneaky, silent old fox stole up onto us. He hid in the fall grass. But lucky for us, we heard him coming in time and got away into the water.
One day a mink attacked us in the water. He got a brother of mine. It was a hard life, I thought then. 'but I was to learn that these enemies aren't our worst. Man, I found out, is our worst enemy. But he's also our best friend. But I'll go into that in a.minute or two.
Well, my brothers and I grew stronger every day. The ones that lived.
