THE SOLDIER
After narrowly escaping his own death in Afghanistan, Patrick Forrester returns to Noah's Crossing for his brother's wedding an injured shell of his former self. He expects a painful homecoming, but if he can make it through the weekend without letting down family, friends, and the entire town, he will be back on a plane headed out of there, and everything will be okay.
But then... Rachel is there.

Rachel had big dreams for her music. Dreams that could never come true if she had accepted Patrick's marriage proposal straight out of high school. So, although it broke her heart, she and Patrick parted ways.
As years passed, Rachel's dreams never quite blossomed the way she'd hoped. Returning to Noah's Crossing, she begins to wonder if God has other plans for her.
And then... Patrick is back.
Their connection is undeniable, but everything is so much more complicated than in high school. And Patrick knows the secret he's guarding is too shameful for Rachel or anybody else to accept or forgive.
Will they find the courage and faith to find their way back to each other?
