As with most daily devotionals, they don't work unless they are worked. Simply reading the material is no substitute for intentional waiting before God in His Word.
By design, this book is only a beginning point. Like a meeting place, the spot becomes irrelevant to the purpose and people with whom we meet. We could meet anywhere, but have chosen this place.
My hope is that as you learn to wait with your heavenly Father, your journey with Him will deepen. He is vast and there is a lifetime of discovery of His great mysteries, if He is afforded the opportunity to our open hearts.
Please do not skip the introduction for in it I share an intentional approach to "being still" with God. He desires to speak and will gift to us heart awakenings as you journey through these thought provoking questions.
