Publisher's Synopsis

This short book of questions and answers was written to complement the popular "Concise System of Orthopaedics and Fractures" by Apley and Solomon. The questions are aimed primarily at medical students, physiotherapists and nurses specializing in orthopaedics. For this group of students, an "undergraduate target score" has been set at the end of each chapter.;Postgraduate doctors studying for the second part of the new FRCS examination may also like to use the questions as a method of revision. For them, higher scores would be expected and there is also a "postgraduate target".;The questions are arranged in chapters corresponding to the chapters in the Concise System; thus, a poor performance on any of the questions will usually be helped by reading the relevant section.;All growing specialities have controversial areas of great (and sometimes heated!) debate. Orthopaedics is no exception, and where there are a variety of ways of treating a condition, the authors have tended to stick to the method recommended in the Concise System.
