She sees a chance to redeem herself in Baudkin's eyes by introducing him to Newid, the pretty hanner-annwfn, or half-breed girl, as indicated in the Prophecy, whose charms Loria longs to discover. Return to Elswence and cross the threshold of a picturesque world, where willow trees wander, owls talk, and summer faeries zoom hither and thither like sentient bumblebees. Make a rendezvous with Alyn, Clan Tewyn's gallant, transgender teller of tales, or Sycele, sexy, shapely mother of two.
