Have you ever been promised something by someone who failed to deliver? The disappointment must have been terrible! In our world, fewer and fewer people believe or accept promises. But I have great news! I know someone whose promises you and I can truly believe because He does not over-promise or under-deliver. His name is God and His promises are rock solid and totally dependable. The bible says in Numbers 23:19: "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: Hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" When God promises anything, it is better and surer than a banker's cheque.
