A shadowy collective loosely known as the Order has always been aware of the gifts hidden in the genetics of special bloodlines. Until recently, only the Order new of the Messianic Implications in Michael's bloodline. The Order has existed since the dawn of time. They know who really built the pyramids and how. They know of Michael and his latent abilities. A recovering addict and struggling musician, Michael has begun to learn of these in startling ways, and he has begun to train his followers. Collectively they are living in the old part of the French Quarter in New Orleans - their real mission is to alter space and time through "traveling." Though he doesn't know who he has descended from, the Order does. Whether he's the second coming, or the antichrist, or something altogether alien only the Order knows.
