The Bible is a Book of principles. Principles contain blessings and curses: blessings when we appropriate them and curses when we break them. God's principles are designed to bless us, but when we violate them, no matter how sincere we are, they will violate us. God gave us principles to govern every area of our lives, whether it be marriage, finances, business, etc. Prayer is no exception; if we want our prayers to be productive, we must pray according to the principles and examples taught in the Word. Prayer is a powerful instrument given to the church, but we have lost much of the skill to use it effectively. This book is an attempt to restore some of those skills to the church of today.
